The New Mommy Makeover Includes a Facelift – Baltimore Doctor Leads Trend Jeffrey Schreiber, MD on 01 Feb 2017

Getting a “mommy makeover” has become popular in recent years, helping mothers of all ages get closer to their pre-baby bodies. The procedure includes breast augmentation, a tummy tuck, and…a facelift? Baltimore cosmetic surgeon Dr. Jeffrey Schreiber offers a new twist on the original mommy makeover, by combining it with a facelift. The result is a completely refreshed look, from head to toe!

Many people – men and women, with or without children – choose winter as their time to get work done. You’re already hiding your body (and any problem areas) beneath layers of warm clothing, so spring will bring a big reveal regardless. When it’s time to lose the layers, you can show off your holiday weight gain – or a body that’s ready for bikini season! If you’re looking for a better figure and face before warm weather hits, now is the perfect time to schedule your body contouring or facelift – or both.

The traditional mommy makeover begins with a tummy tuck procedure, to help address loose or excess skin after childbirth. The underlying abdominal muscles are tightened, and liposuction may be done as well. This is a great way for anyone to redefine their waist, eliminate some stretch marks, improve the appearance of their belly button, and feel more comfortable within their own body again. It is recommended that women have this procedure only once they are done having children, and ideally once they have lost some or all extra weight.

A breast augmentation, with or without a breast lift, should be done once a woman is completely done breastfeeding her children. At this point, the breasts may be saggy, misshapen, or deflated in appearance. A woman may have significantly smaller breasts once breastfeeding is done, and she might miss the fuller look and feel of them. Or, she might want to create a more balanced or hourglass shape by augmenting her breasts and slimming down her waist and tummy area.

The best thing about a mommy makeover is how helpful it can be at different stages of life. A younger woman might have one very soon after having her only child, but it is equally wonderful for an older mom or grandma. Of course, you can get one even if you’re not a mommy at all! The addition of facial rejuvenation in Baltimore mommy makeovers is particularly appealing for women who have experienced stress, premature aging, or sun damage. A Baltimore facelift is performed by Dr. Schreiber, top rated plastic surgeon. He adds a necklift to the procedure, which results in an even more refreshed and renewed look.

The end result of Dr. Schreiber’s facelift will be a smoother, tauter face and neck. There will be less visible wrinkles, and excess fat and skin will be removed. The facial muscles and tissue will be tightened, and the cheeks will have more volume. These elements combine to make patients “look as good as they feel”! The addition of a facelift to a mommy makeover can help women to feel entirely new, with a beautiful new look to match their beautiful new body.
